Washington Monument

Image captured on Memorial Day, May 2008 in Washington, D.C. using a Canon S3 digital camera. Some minor adjustments were made using Photoshop. Otherwise, this is the way it came out with this unusual sky color. Almost as if a storm was approaching except it was a nice day. It makes the monument even more impressive with the darker contrast of the sky behind it.
